Time of our lives
As a human, we all have our dreams and we do everything that we can to make those dreams come true. Most of us are very busy making a living and spend a little time for romance, partying and enjoying little things that can make us happy. Most of us are focused on our careers. Lucky are those who reached 70, 80, 90 and 100 years of age. Life is indeed a battle versus time.
One thing that I enjoy the most is watching fantasy and supernatural series. I feel like escaping from the reality whenever I watch those shows. One of the best for me is The Vampire Diaries. I always say that if a vampire really do exist, I will submit myself willingly as his prey and made him turn me into one. There are so many things that I wanna do. Being a vampire gives me an eternity of doing the things that I love to do without any time frame. I guess I'm becoming a freak. LOL
The show got a stupendous soundtrack. One of my favorite is shown below:
The character that I really love is Katerina Petrova. In modern times, she is called Katherine Pierce. I adore Nina Dobrev. I really wish to see her in person, in my lifetime. The character, Katherine is somehow similar to me. I felt the need of doing foolish and bad things just to survive a life and death situation. She love herself too much and as a vampire, it amplified. I'm not a bad person (LOL) But, I can amplify my capabilities, just to protect myself and my love ones.
I'm just wondering, that if I have an eternity, what would I do first? Many vampires in the show are full of regrets. If you have an eternity, would you have any regrets? Would you keep a journal or a blog for you to remember so many years of being alive and dead at the same time? Life is very mysterious. Watching fantasy shows creates an exit door of the physical reality into the world of fantasy, where problems are always being solved. However, when lessons in life are the main theme of all the story, that's where reality kicks in.
I hope many of you guys are watching the show. Stupendous it is! 2 thumbs up!
